Role Summary: We are seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to join our team. The position reports to the Programming Manager and works directly with external commercial construction employers and the internal C3 team to identify new processes to assist the employers in building better workforce development practices. In partnership with commercial construction employers, they will assess existing training programs, provide learning and development expertise and consultative guidance, and assist in the creation of new training programs as appropriate.

Leveraging Your Previous Experience, We Will Enable You To: • Build successful relationships with external commercial construction employers. • Assess existing training programs in accordance with the C3 Craft Training Endorsement Program. • Consult with employers to improve on their workforce development practices and identify opportunities to design new training documents and/or programs.

We’d Love to Hear from People With: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus. • PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification a plus. • Five (5) to eight (8) years’ progressive work experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of professional training and human resources development experience with a minimum of two (2) years of project management experience, preferably in a professional services consulting or internal consulting environment. • Knowledge or experience in the construction industry is a plus.
