The new social learning combines social media tools with a shift in organizational culture, a shift that encourages ongoing knowledge transfer and connects people in ways that make learning enjoyable. 

As Steve LeBlanc noted, “Social learning thrives in a culture of service and wonder. It is inspired by leaders, enabled by technology, and ignited by opportunities that have only recently unfolded."

We will discuss using social tools to help workforces share and connect - as well as social learning implementation and best practices.

Speaker:  Debbie Richards is a consultant, trainer, and speaker with many years of professional experience in the fields of e-earning in corporate, government, and regulatory organizations. President of Creative Interactive Ideas, Debbie supports clients in the area of instructional technology by mentoring them in the creation of technology-rich web-based courses using rapid development tools. She is an active tweeter who talks about emerging technologies and e-earning.  Debbie was named one of the top most influential people in Corporate eLearning for 2015.

Debbie is the ATD Houston website director, past president and a National Adviser for ATD Chapters.
