Many companies are putting their best foot forward into recruiting a more diverse workforce, but what about fostering an inclusive work environment for employees from all backgrounds. As talent development leaders, we understand that to keep employees engaged, leverage their skill sets, and promote collaboration, there must be a sense of belonging for all. This event will uncover the meaning of belonging, how to build inclusive teams and support employee conversations around diversity and inclusion, and its influence on belonging. Additionally we will discuss the difference between equity and equality. Join us for this impactful and interactive conversation.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Khemari Cook - Director of Education & Inclusion at Red Ventures

Khemari Cook is a marketing Boss turned diversity, equity and inclusion leader with 10 years of experience in building brands and innovating in digital marketing. Named as a Grammercy Rising Star in Financial Marketing, Khemari joined her current company, Red Ventures in 2018 as marketing director for Bankrate. Khemari now serves as the Director of Education and Inclusion at Red Ventures and is passionate about DEI awareness, employee education and business strategy. She holds both an MBA from Augusta University and Master of Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. Her background in building brands, business strategy, and communications arm her with the tools to champion the We ARE employee resource groups (ERG) at Red Ventures and facilitate their expansion across the company while aligning with its business objectives.
