ATD Houston/HODN 2023 Joint Meeting: Exploring Employee Experience Strategies And Their Impact On The Organization
Join us for the much-anticipated joint session hosted by the Houston Organizational Development Network (HODN) and the Association of Talent Development (ATD) Houston Chapter. This session features a panel of three professionals from diverse industries to discuss how organizations can boost their ability to attract, engage and develop high-performing teams with improved Employee Experience strategies.
What is the Employee Experience? As defined by Gallup, the Employee Experience (EX) is the journey an employee takes with your organization. It includes every interaction that happens during the employee life cycle, plus the experiences that involve an employee's role, workspace, manager and wellbeing.
Why is the Employee Experience important now? As the human capital landscape continues to evolve, and employees have multiple options when seeking places of employment, companies must compete aggressively for talent by assessing the different stages of their Employee Experience.
During this session, participants will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions as well as engage with your peers in several interactive activities using case studies to highlight and discuss best practices for onboarding, increased engagement and retention – which ultimately will lead to forming high performing teams within your organizations.
Learning Objectives:
· Explore strategies that different organizations have undertaken to improve the Employee Experience journey from onboarding, development, engagement, and retention.
· Define the role Employee Experience has in the overall Talent Development & OD strategy of an organization.
· Understand how effective Employee Experience strategies positively impact an organization’s ability to succeed.
