Whether you're actively planning to sit for the APTD or CPTD exam, have been toying with the idea of certification, or are simply curious about what it entails—this free session is your perfect starting point.

Join ATD Houston for a powerful Certification Study Group Information Session where you’ll gain clarity, confidence, and direction. We’ll demystify both the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) and the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credentials—and show you how our upcoming study group can support your success.

You’ll get the inside scoop on:

  • When and how the study group meets
  • How long it lasts and how to prepare for exam windows in Fall 2025 and Winter 2026
  • Exclusive resources you’ll gain access to (including a guided review of the Talent Development Capability Model)
  • What’s expected—and what’s included
  • Plus, we’ll answer your burning questions about the certification process, exam content, and how to talk with your manager about supporting your professional development.

No cost to attend. No chapter membership required to join the study group. Just bring your curiosity and commitment to growth.

If you've been teaching adult learners for 3+ years and you're hungry for a new level of recognition and impact, this session is for you.
