Topic:  Decision Making - Applying the military process in the business world

Have you ever been unsure about a decision, wondered if you had considered everything you should, or struggled with how to make decisions? A good decision is a process, and nobody is more about processes than the military. Join us on December 16 to learn about the deliberate process of Military Decision Making and walk through how to apply it to your own decisions. You will leave with an understanding of the complexity of a good decision and a guide to help you keep on track. Come on, let's learn something together!

Rob Hefner retired from the Army in August of this year after 24 years of service, 15 of those spent as a trainer. The last five of those years were spent using simulations, gaming and classroom instruction to drive good decision making for units getting ready to deploy overseas. He rose through the enlisted ranks where he taught troop leading procedures through deployments teaching decision making in other cultures to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, still teaching, still focused on the military decision making process. He is currently blissfully happy in his new job as Training Coordinator for Employment Training Centers of Houston, an HR consulting firm. Rob is VP Membership for the Houston ATD chapter and actively involved in the ATD mentorship program.
