Session Description:  Discussion of why leadership development aligned to business works, and how to overcome the roadblocks and sustain results.  Participant exercise to tie development to business objectives - useful for internal practitioners and external consultants when focused on a particular client.  Presentation and discussion on acceleration of development.

Learners will:

  1. Understand a point-of-view regarding the differences between successful, sustainable leadership development programs and those that struggle or die.
  2.  Use a tool to examine their organization's strategic priorities and the competencies required for achievement with the goal of identifying gaps.
  3.  Discuss what accelerated development really means and how to make it happen.
