With a large number of skilled workers reaching retirement age, the oil & gas industry is facing a huge talent void, especially those workers who are skilled in process technology. Eric Newby, Executive Director of the North American Process Technology Alliance (NAPTA), will speak about the future of process technology education locally and across the country. He’ll describe readily available learning resources and valuable partnerships between business, industry and the community that serves to support the process industry.

After retiring from the petrochemical industry as a Learning & Development Coordinator, with a background in production, and as President of the NAPTA for the eight years, Eric has taken on the role of NAPTA Executive Director, and is charged with advancing the PTEC degree and the process operator career across North America.
