The Future of Learning and Key Learning Trends - with Maria Ho, ATD’s Research Manager  

Join us to learn about Learning Executives’ predictions for the future of learning and important trends that will impact learning.

Some topics covered are:

  1. What learning technologies do learning leaders think will be important in the next few years? 
  2. What do learning leaders think the learners of the future look like (Gen Y and beyond), and how can learning functions effectively train them to succeed and lead?
  3. What are some trends and topics learning leaders think will be important in the short term (the rest of 2016)?
Learner Objectives:  Attendees will gain perspectives on the trends that industry leaders think are important to follow, and some tips for preparing for the future--both long-term and short-term.

Speaker:  Maria Ho is ATD’s Research Manager and handles ATD’s portfolio of Talent Development industry research.

She authors research reports and other research products, analyzes data, and develops research plans and quantitative models. She also promotes and presents ATD’s research by blogging, posting on social media, and giving presentations. Maria is especially interested in performance measurement and evaluation and the impact of new technologies on training.  

Prior to joining ATD, Maria was a public policy researcher, data analyst, and writer at the Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, D.C.

Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and a master’s degree in economics from Johns Hopkins University.
