Blaming PowerPoint for dull presentations is like blaming the paintbrush for an ugly painting. But few presenters ever tap into the enormous potential that a creatively-designed slide presentation can have. Mike Robertson is a nationally-know thought leader in designing innovative visuals that capture audience attention and improve information retention. In this idea-packed session, he shares tips, tricks, and techniques that can immediately take your slides to a much higher level.

Attendees will:

  1. Learn many little-known techniques for dramatically improving their slides—without any additional software or equipment.
  2. Understand the use of textures, frames, layers, animated .gifs, and other customizable elements.
  3. Experience interactive techniques that transform the screen from a necessary evil to a powerful tool.

ATD Competency Model - Area of Expertise This Session Supports:  Performance Improvement, Instructional Design, Training Delivery, Learning Technologies
