Topic:  Leadership is a word often used but rarely understood. Leadership is one of the world’s oldest professions. History is replete with examples of both good and bad leadership. Perhaps now, more than ever, there is a need for many to answer the urgent call for effective leadership—but how? This session explains what it means to Be a leader. It then dissects the process needed to Build leadership in oneself and in others through leadership development tools for all to Benefit.

This session is designed to appeal to individuals new to leadership and seasoned leadership practitioners alike.

New leaders or people managers, experienced leaders, those desiring to become a leader, and executives are all invited to attend for

  • Explain why so many people in positions of authority fail to exercise leadership.
  • Recognize opportunities for everyone to practice leadership
  • Recommend effective methods for Leadership Development

Eddie is a professional speaker who has spoken internationally and is certified as an executive coach and facilitator. He is a global workshop and program facilitator for the Association for Talent Development and for Harvard Business School Publishing. He has studied at Harvard and Northwestern Universities.   • Café on the Lakes can accessed through the garage entrance.
  • Let wait staff know you are there for the ATD Houston lunch event.
