Webinar: More Resilient Throughout Crisis

Resilience is the capacity to not only survive life's challenges, but to learn and grow from them, to become stronger as a result of such challenges. While stress, trauma, adversity, and dramatic change are rarely welcome, your personal resilience enables you to find a way to move beyond the challenge and toward a stronger self. This capacity, a key factor in determining how people will respond to change, is something that each of us can grow and strengthen in our lives.

Using the concept of biomimicry, this program offers you six tips we learn from nature about how to stay afloat in challenging times. You have heard the saying “let it roll off you, like water off a duck’s back”, but did you know that ducks aren’t always waterproof? Yes - even a duck can drown!

Learner Objectives:

In our time together, we'll discuss:

  • Identify key characteristics that enable resilience
  • Explore how to develop a resilience in yourself and others
  • Discover a simple and memorable StayAfloat model

Using biomimicry and a metaphor of a duck's waterproofing, we will explore the keys to building your personal and professional resilience.
