General Meeting Online: Leading by Numbers: Telling Compelling Stories From Boring Business Data

Countless reports and presentations get written, but too many are rambling data dumps that add little insight or bury the point.

Technology provides tons of useful information, now senior managers everywhere want people to be better deciphering and explaining it to others. It’s as true for HR as Finance, Sales or Marketing. Instead of debating minor details, what’s your dashboard saying? What’s going wrong? What should you do?

In this session, real world before and after examples show exactly how to translate facts on issues like job satisfaction, engagement, retention and diversity into convincing narratives that lead to powerful ideas.

Learner Objectives:

In this session, participants will:

  • Review data to identify drivers, spot key trends, set priorities, etc.
  • Develop a simple, compelling story that leads to your conclusions.
  • Express your thoughts clearly and confidently in words and writing.
